5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE ‘PEANUT’ FUDGE (DAIRY FREE, PEANUT FREE)

This chocolate ‘peanut’ fudge gives you a peanut flavor without the peanuts! It is also dairy and refined sugar free! And you can make it in 5 minutes!

This 5 minute chocolate fudge recipe is all you need for the holidays when your friends and family will be devouring traditional dessert recipes. But with this single recipe, all your cravings will be gone and it just takes 5 ingredients and 5 minutes!

What are the ingredients needed to make this 5 Minute chocolate fudge?

Raw Cacao: I like to use organic raw cacao by Better Body Foods.

Organic Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is best for this recipe. I have not tried this recipe with any other fat. I like this brand of coconut oil.

Sunflower seed butter: Sunflower seed butter is the one that gives this recipe the ‘peanut’ flavor! I like this brand! Make sure you get a brand/variety that has no added sugars. You can also use a nut butter like almond butter or cashew butter for this recipe.

Raw Honey: Honey is the only sweetener used in this recipe and this also helps to give the fudge a smooth and shiny consistency! I like this brand of raw honey.

Pure Vanilla extract: Vanilla always enhances the flavor of chocolate. So I love adding vanilla in this recipe. I like this brand.

Sea Salt: A little bit of sea salt in all dessert recipes helps to round out the sweetness as well as helps you to reduce the amount of sweetener. I like using Himalayan Pink salt for this recipe.

Can you make an AIP version of this recipe?

For an AIP version, you can replace cacao with carob. And use tiger nut butter instead of sunflower seed butter. However, some brands of carob do not mix well with coconut oil. I recommend Terra souls brand. Also using palm shortening instead of coconut oil can help with uniform mixing if using carob. Check out my 5 min chocolate recipe where I give more tips.

What are the steps to make this recipe?

This is absolutely an easy recipe that even a novice in cooking can make. All you need to do is mix ingredients and give it a nice whisk!

  1. Get a glass mixing bowl.
  2. Pre measure all your ingredients. For coconut oil, melt it first in a different container in the microwave before measuring it.
  3. Add all the ingredients to the mixing bowl.
  4. Stir using a spoon or a whisk until smooth. If mixture is lumpy and hard to stir or whisk, then place the glass mixing bowl in the microwave and microwave for 20-30 seconds. Then whisk again until you get a smooth flowing mixture.
  5. Add any chopped nuts or shredded coconut (if adding)
  6. Pour mixture into silicone molds or onto a loaf pan or brownie pan lined with parchment paper.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  8. Take out from the refrigerator and cut into pieces or remove from the silicone molds.
  9. Transfer fudge to a glass or ceramic container and always keep in refrigerator until serving.
