Baked Pumpkin Donuts

Sometimes words are just superfluous…not needed. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I say these pumpkin donuts need neither a detailed description nor an elaborate post. Trust me  – these are delicious and perfect for anytime snacking aka ‘sweet cravings’.  And plenty of reasons for you to not feel guilty.  # 1: These are baked – none of that deep fried stuff.  #2: They have the goodness of pumpkin in them #3: It is made of part whole wheat flour.  #4: You can bake them in mini donut pans to get mini donuts

Actually about #4 I am not sure if there is any real benefit to that. You see …I baked 6 large and 12 mini ones and I don’t know where the mini donuts went! I could not get even a single picture of them.!  So maybe its best to stick to the regular size ones 🙂

OK that’s it. Not saying anything more. As it is I am so behind in my posts -have been very busy lately with work and other things. So although I have been cooking and baking as usual, have not been able to find time to write up. Need to get to my next post and need to bake these donuts once again pretty soon too – the kids have been demanding them:)  I am bringing these delectable goodies to Fiesta Friday this week.

Btw for the donut baking pan, I could not find it easily in stores and finally ordered it from amazon.com. And now that I made these donuts for the first time, I am pretty sure that I will be using these pans a lot!
