This beef brisket is named the perfect brisket because it is the perfect, no-fail recipe for brisket! I have tried making brisket in the Instant Pot and in the slow cooker. But nothing beats this recipe. Plus it’s such a simple recipe! It takes around 4 hours to cook however you don’t need to do anything much!

We like to eat red meat only on occasional basis in our house. And whenever we do eat, we like to get good quality meat. We usually get grass fed beef. This time I used grass fed brisket from US Wellness Meat.
And we could taste the difference! The beef tasted so delicious and melt-in-mouth. I only used a couple seasonings – Primal Palate’s Meat and Potatoes seasoning as well as Primal Palate’s Steak seasoning.

SInce the brisket was the star of the meal, we had it with roasted potatoes (which I roasted in the same pan as the brisket) and some steamed green beans. It was a perfect American dinner!
- 2 lbs baby potatoes
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp Primal Palate Meat and Potatoes seasoning
- 1 Tbsp Primal Palate Steak seasoning
- One Beef Brisket (2.5 to 3 lbs)
- 3 cups Beef Broth
- Pre heat oven to 425 F.
- In a large roasting pan add the potatoes, the oil and 1 tbsp of the meat and potatoes seasoning. Toss everything together using your hands.
- Rub the rest of the meat and potatoes seasoning as well as the steak seasoning onto the brisket making sure to coat the top, the bottom and the sides.
- Place the brisket over the potatoes with the fat side up.
- Place the pan in the oven and roast at 425 F for 1 hour, 15 mins.
- After this time, take the potatoes out of the pan and add the beef broth to the pan. Cover the pan with Al foil and place it back in the oven for 2 hours, 30 minutes.
- Take the pan out of the oven and let it stay covered until it's time to serve.
