These almond cookies are so delicious! The almonds provide the perfect crunch and the chocolate chips pairs deliciously with the almonds. These cookies are gluten free and egg free!
I have made these cookies a few times now and this recipe is so easy. You don’t need a stand mixer or an electric mixer. Just a mixing bowl and a spatula! How great is that! Feeling a craving coming? No problem, you can rustle these cookies in less than 30 minutes! Not kidding!

I used sprouted almonds from Lark Ellen farm and they are just wonderful – fresh and so crunchy!

Delicious almond and chocolate chip cookies that are gluten free, egg free and refined sugar free!
RecipeIngredients
- 2 cups almond flour (I used Bob's red Mill blanched almond flour)
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup chopped almonds
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
RecipeInstructions
- Pre0heat oven to 350 F. Line a bakingtray with parchment sheet.
- In a large mixing bowl add the almond flour, slat and baking powder. Mix using a fork. The add the butter, maple syrup and vanilla. Mix with a spoon to form a dough. Then add the chocolate chips and the chopped almonds and mix to uniformly distribute in the dough.
- Divide dough into 10-12 small balls. Place the balls 1 inch apart on the parchment lined baking tray. Press at the center to flatten them.
- Place the tray in the oven and bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes until the bottom of the cookies turn golden brown. The cookies will still be quite soft to handle but that's ok they will slwowly harden as they cool. Take the tray out of the oven and place on the kitchen counter and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can make this recipe dairy free by replacing butter with coconut oil and using dairy free chocolate chips
